There’s a lot of talk about dentists “leaving” this media, the Yellow Pages.
CAUTION: Before YOU leave it, make sure you know your ROI. You know, what kind of return you’re getting for your money.
And, you better well have a replacement for your ad in PLACE before you leave. Otherwise, you’ll leave a hole in your ability to generate a horde of new patients at-will.
I like YPs myself. There’s value in ‘em. Most businesses still benefit greatly from being in ‘em.
You don’t necessarily need a full-page ad, but you oughta at least have a basic listing.
If you’re hunting around for someone that understands the media and knows how to design ads that pull patients, look me up. I’ll be happy to spend some time with you to determine if there’s a potential fit there.
Just remember: Before you pull the plug on this once-great, kick-butt media, know your numbers and have a replacement(s) lined up. Otherwise, it might be like dropping insurances and hearing that cricket noise where there used to be lively chatter in your ops!
